Art Journaling Workshop by Gloria Keh

Description

The Art Journaling Workshop is part of the Tatinis Art Show to promote an interest in art. Tatinis believes in promoting local artists and entrepreneurs by showcasing their work through www.tatinis.com

About the workshop

Marrying the written word with images, art journaling offers a relaxing, meditative activity that’s much needed in the high tech and super paced world we live in today. A world often synonymous with multi-tasking, and keeping up with an array of physical, mental and emotional demands. Besides expressing oneself, art journaling steers you off the busyness of the day, and into the calm.By keeping an art journal, you will learn how to process your emotions, document your thoughts, and stay inspired.

There is no right or wrong in keeping an art journal, and the workshop will be facilitated with guidelines provided. No experience or particular skills are required, as options will be provided. But more than anything else, it will be taking time off to nurture yourself, and have some fun.

Support for ARC Childrens Centre

100% of the proceeds from the fees for your attendance will be donated to charity, ie ARC Children’s Centre, a local charity supporting children with cancer and other serious illnesses.
